What is a chicken tractor? A chicken tractor is a 2 story mobile chicken coop that is the healthest way to house urban(backyard)chickens with 2 levels of protection against predators.
Chicken Tractors work like a wheel barrow that can moved around your yard giving your hens a fresh spot to eat grass, remove pests, and feed your lawn all protected while you are at work or away, fits in the back of pick up trucks or trailers for traveling with your hens (chickens love to travel too).

Ira grew up on the farm in Viroqua Wisconsin. At very young age Ira learned to care for many farm animals, specializing in chickens. Ira then moved to florida with his parents at age 15, and after school (were he excelled at drafting)he took up construction work were he learned all phases of the building industry.
Being a avid inventor Ira made a wager with his son(Young Ira) that if he learned how to take care of the chickens(Old Ira) would learn how to build the coop. After looking at a few designs online, and thinking of his own needs, Ira invented the Urban Chicken Tractor!
